Tooth Stories
First tooth
S lost his first tooth on 7 Aug 2010. This was the lower front tooth. We were visiting Seattle with Vijji and Nia. S and N were swimming in Dave and Preethy's lake in their backyard. On his way out the tooth was missing. S was very upset because he thought that the tooth fairy was not going to visit him since he didn't have the tooth to put under the pillow. But then all was fine the next day since the tooth fairy did come after all and left behind 5$.
Second tooth
S lost his second tooth on 8 Nov 2010. This is the one next to the one he lost before. That morning S had a dentist appointment. Mama was hoping that the dentist would pull it out. But the dentist said that even if S sneezes it will come out. So he was off to school with a very shaky tooth. His friend Alex L said that his gums were bleeding and he should probably pull the tooth out. Mrs Elmer offered to pull it out. But then S decided he would do it himself. So during math lessons he pulled it out and claimed that it didn't hurt at all. He was allowed to go to the office and get a tooth-case. The tooth was carefully put into the tooth-case and sealed by tape. It has a string around it for the tooth fairy to wear it as a necklace. The tooth-case was carefully placed under the pillow before S went to sleep. Usually S sleeps with 2 pillows, one on the side so that he doesn't fall off the bed. But that day he wanted only one pillow so as not to confuse the tooth fairy. All was good the next day, the tooth fairy left a dollar under the pillow and took the tooth necklace with her.
